After 11 years of running, Apple finally kicked his support for QuickTime for Windows applications. Support question is, Apple will no longer provide any updates or patch security holes of the multimedia application. The application is indeed still be used, but Apple is already out of hand if there is a problem that will arise. Freeze such support by Apple just a week after the discovery Trend Micro uncover security holes in QuickTime 7 for Windows. In fact, Trend Micro has been informed of the gap to Apple in November 2015 ago. At that time, Apple had mentioned that they had no plans to patch or repair the software. Apple also said that QuickTime on Windows is outdated, and will ask the vendor to publish uninstalled the way to the user. Cracks were found by Trend Micro that is where their way to force QuickTime open the malware-infected sites, or play files that contain malware. According to Trend Micro, there is no way to patch this hole except by removing the QuickTime application.
